Anarchist Reading Circle

Time: Thursdays, 6-7:30 PM EST (except 2nd Thursdays of the month) 
Place: Online. A Zoom link will be sent on registration.

As a form of socialism, anarchism begins with the premise that we’re all in this together! Moreover, contrary to its public perception as offering at best puerile reflections on society and life, anarchism has actually produced a remarkable body of sophisticated theory. Much of this is surprisingly relevant to our contemporary world. In this circle, we read and discuss both classical and contemporary anarchist texts. Some authors we have read since we started in 2020 include: Peter Kropotkin, Ruth Kinna, Cindy Milstein, Marquis Bey, and Ursula Le Guin. 

ARC is currently reading the BIG TRENDY BOOK The Dawn of Everything! We start with Chapter 1 Thursday, Dec. 2nd. and end on March 22nd. (See schedule below.) Register at Eventbrite.

There are two ways to join:

Patreon Supporter ($10+): If you are an Incite Seminars Patreon supporter at the $20 level or higher, group participation is included in your membership! 

Non-Patreon Drop-In Ticket: If you’re curious about the group but aren’t ready to commit your ongoing support via Patreon, you can buy a drop-in ticket for a particular date or book club. 

Discussion Schedule:

Incite Seminars’ Anarchist Reading Circle will meet on 12 Thursday evenings from 6-7:30 PM EST. We will not meet Thursday before Christmas or on the 2nd Thursdays of the month.
